5th March 2012 bullet Who's Cooking Dinner? (UK)
This is the 13th annual pop-up dinner-party fundraiser for Leuka. Peter conceived the idea for this unique fundraiser back in 1999. Here he explains how the event works: "On the evening of the dinner there are 20 chefs and 20 tables of ten guests assembled. Each chef has created a unique 4 course dinner, with matching wines. No menu will be the same. The names of the chefs, and the guests, are drawn from two 'hats' and it's only at that point that the guests know who will be cooking their menu, and what they'll be eating. It's fabulous. The camaraderie in the kitchen is wonderful. The chefs are all at the top of their field, working in cramped conditions, working alongside friends and strangers. The vibe is wonderful and the food is superb. So far we've raised over £3 million and we're still going strong. All money raised on the night goes towards the haematology unit at The Catherine Lewis centre at Hammersmith Hospital - one of the worlds leading research centres."

Peter will be participating in various events at the South Pacific Food & Wine Hospitality Conference, including a demo, panel discussion and signature dinner.

17th April 2012 bullet 'Best of...' Wine Dinner at The Providores (UK)
The Providores celebrates two years of taste and palate-provoking Winemakers' Dinners by hosting a one-off event showcasing the very best wine and food pairings from 2010/11. Head Chef Cristian Hossack will introduce his personal favourites from the last two years, giving an insight into six of his unique flavour, food and wine combinations. Not only will this evening provide a chance to sample seven remarkable New Zealand vineyards plus The Providores’ innovative cuisine – it’s the perfect way to farewell winter and welcome spring. Independent sommelier Robert Giorgione will also be on hand to talk about his favourite combinations and why he loves New Zealand wine. View menu

Peter returns to the Adventure Gourmet programme run by Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala with a demo class titled 'Prelude to Fusion', in which he'll demonstrate dishes from the menu at The Providores & Tapa Room.
